Leveling Up an iPhone RPG — SRRN’s Ash
SRRN, a small indie developer out of Charlottesville, VA, was sure the studio had a great mobile RPG in their hands. After all, the game was the product of a year and a half of intense dedication, coupled with an undying passion for RPGs. So when it was time to hire an agency that could propel Ash to its rightful place in the iPhone pantheon, the studio came to The Bohle Company.
For the launch, Bohle focused on three segments of the gaming press: sites devoted to RPGs, mobile gaming pubs and tech blogs. After a successful press release (written well-enough to be used as-is by some in the media), Bohle proceeded to secure and place reviews with almost all of the very best publications for that game in the business: GamingBits, Destructoid, Macworld, GamesRadar, Gizmodo, TouchArcade and Slide to Play.
The result was a number of very positive reviews, followed by sales numbers that steadily drove the game up in the App Store rankings.
