Re-launching a Game Is Harder, But Bohle’s Up to It
Muzzy Lane, a Boston-based indie developer, first released Making History: The Calm & The Storm, a World War II grand strategy, turn-based computer game in March 2007. The initial game had been successfully marketed by its developer as an educational tool, but had not caught the interest of the core strategy or war game player. The Bohle Company was brought onboard in 2009 to generate the kind of coverage that would get the passionate gamer re-engaged and to introduce the company’s online multiplayer service, which allows strategy fans to play synchronous and asynchronous turn-based matches directly in the browser.
