Cannes Preview for Vin Lee Designs
If you are a master jeweler, you want your designs worn by celebrities on the red carpet at the world’s most important events. And so, to preview Vin Lee’s new line of diamond jewelry on the international scene, The Bohle Company arranged to have an up and coming young French actress, Mylene Jampanoi, wear one of his necklaces to Sharon Stone’s AMFAR charity event at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival.
Mazarine Pingeot, daughter of former French president Francois Mitterand, also selected a Vin Lee Beverly Hills design to wear to the premiere of the film Marie Antoinette, starring Kristen Dunst.
Both designs were then picked up by the international press covering the event.
Film industry luminaries were treated to other Grand Metropolitan products being previewed at Cannes, including prototypes of Lee’s Caesar golf balls, Master Perfumer fragrances and Vin Lee Liquor. Lee’s Grand Metropolitan, a cocktail made of fine Armenian eau de cognac infused with tobacco, became the toast of the festival.
